Emergency Fund
Each time I visit Tso Pema there are people who have just arrived from Tibet, some whose sponsors have forgotten them, and some I haven't been able to find sponsors for. This fund enables them to receive at least some money.
Health & Caring
This project cares for old and infirm people who have no family to help them. We arrange cleaning and care for fourteen people at Tso Pema also buying them mattresses, blankets & other basic necessities.
The health centre at Tso Pema received only 1/4 of the basic medical supplies needed in the community. Thanks to this fund there is now medicine on their shelves.
Tso Pema Kids Garden School
The school was created in 2004 with 25 children and 3 teachers. It has now grown to 50 students 7 teachers and a cook. There are plans to buy land and construct a school as they are currently renting old farm houses.
Admin Fund
All monies donated to projects and sponsorships are actually donated with no admin costs deducted. With continued growth and expansion, admin costs have increased and now include someone being employed at Tso Pema to assist with admin and distribution.
